Dignity Owner, Kevin Spurgeon, has been selected as a finalist for the Animal Star Awards 2021 on behalf of Dignity. Kevin said “This news has come as a welcome morale boost to myself and the team. I’m so lucky to have such a dedicated group of people who have been working tirelessly throughout the pandemic and it has been really hard at times. Although my name has been put forward, I couldn’t do it without the Dignity Team and every single one of them make a positive difference to people after the loss of their pet. We just want to make their experience a comforting and loving one that gives owners peace of mind and helps them in their grieving process.”
The Animal Star Awards gives recognition to animals and humans alike for the extraordinary things they do. The judges are industry experts in their field with the lead judge being CEO of The Badger Trust and well-known animal campaigner Dominic Dyer.

Mary Burgess, Founder of the Animal Star Awards, says “The event will be pre-recorded with some very special celebrity guests and there will be performances too from some fabulous entertainers including singer Rachael Hawnt (BBC One All Together Now finalist), Max with Gordon the monkey, The Fabulous Miss G and my co-host will be back – Mark Carter of BBC Radio.”
