Joe Shute from The Telegraph recently discussed the rising popularity of pet cremation and what services Dignity offer to pet owners.
“It is Monday morning at Dignity Pet Crematorium, and wisps of smoke drift from the handsome red-brick bottle kiln in the garden grounds. The Victorian-built furnace is the largest remaining of its type in Hampshire and looms over the surrounding countryside. At its base, two oil-heated cremation chambers have been fired up since daybreak. Clipboards on hooks indicate the names of the current occupants: Gibson, a Labrador; and Cleo, a cat.”
