After investigating claims that the owner of Swanpit Pet Crematorium in Staffordshire unlawfully disposed of their customer’s pets, Trading Standards found the shocking truth awaiting them.
Within several chest freezers were piles of deceased pets. All of these had been passed in good faith by paying customers including Joanne Wakeley from Chadsmoor.
District judge Jack McGarva told the owner: “It’s horrible and far from what your customers would have expected you to have done.”
