We are delighted to have started 2023 in partnership with the environment organisation, Ecologi, who fund projects to plant trees and make it their business to be climate positive.
For every pet that is cremated at Dignity Pet Crematorium, Ecologi will plant a tree in one of their projects. By funding tree planting, we will be planting a mix of native and biodiverse tree species in Ecologi’s planting sites around the world. It’s now common knowledge that one of the best tools to tackle the climate crisis and keep our temperatures from rising above 1.5C is to plant trees. They are also crucial in preventing ecological collapse. Our website counter shows the current number of trees planted as a result of our projects funded with Ecologi.

Ecologi is a platform for real climate action. They facilitate the funding of carbon offset projects and tree planting around the world. Their mission is to reduce 50% of global CO2 emissions by 2040 and responsibly plant billions of trees every year. We are honoured to be a part of their mission.
When Ecologi was asked: “Can we reverse climate change?” “Is that possible?” They answered: “Yes!” Saying, Over 600 million people can afford £5 per month. This means we can collectively remove 50% of global CO2 emissions and plant billions of trees a year on our lowest helper plan.
