What’s your name?
Wojciech Woszczynski – Veterinary Surgeon and Founder of WW Mobile Veterinary Services.
How long have you been working with us at Dignity?
I have just started partnering with Dignity to offer my clients an individual cremation service for their pets.
Where is your Vet Practice located?
I am based in Southampton and cover a 40 mile radius.
Tell us a little bit about you and your team
After graduating in Poland in 2017, I immediately took up my first Veterinary Surgeon position in North Yorkshire. I took the opportunity of working in a large, busy, independent practice (with plenty of out of hours work!) to gain lots of experience and confidence, developing a keen interest in emergency and critical care. A year later I started my first position as an emergency and out of hours veterinarian. With the arrival of a new baby in town working nights was no longer sustainable, so I moved to a first-opinion practice where I spent over 2 years undertaking numerous training programmes and starting my ophthalmology certificate, receiving distinction in my final exam.
More recently, I spent last year providing help to practices all across Hampshire as a locum Veterinary Surgeon, providing second opinions and performing various surgeries. Spending long hours travelling to the practices inspired me to launch my own Mobile Veterinary Service, to provide animals with the care they deserve in their own home environment.
What services do you offer?
Consultations for sick pets, vaccinations, planned surgeries, medical work up including internal and external laboratory tests, microchipping, litter checks, geriatric clinics, advanced ophthalmology consultations, medication check ups, monthly allergy/pain relief injections, second opinions, flea and worm checks, quality of life consultations, and end of life care.
“Our mission is to treat every pet like our own, at every stage of their life.”
How long has your practice been open?
My practice is very new and has just opened this month!
What’s unique about your Veterinary Practice?
My main interests lay in quality of life care, ophthalmology, dermatology, internal medicine and diagnostic imaging. I offer extensive work ups in the comfort of your own living room, taking away all the stress from your animal. No more queueing in the reception area, feeling rushed and explaining again and again to a different vet each time the nature of the problem and your concerns. We do not have any affiliations with corporates or high staff overheads hidden in offices hundreds of miles away. This means we can focus on what’s best for you and your pet and can remain highly cost-competitive on all tests, medications and planned surgeries.
What is the favourite part of your job?
The bond I have with animals and making them feel comfortable and see the day-to-day difference that I can make by implementing treatments.
