Hi Kirsty, tell us a little bit about yourself and your team.
I’ve been a vet for 10 years, have a specialism in surgery and am interested in chronic pain and improving quality of life for all animals. I perform more complicated surgical procedures and also perform acupuncture.
James Beacroft is our Practice Manager and Physiotherapist. He’s a Consultant Veterinarian Physiotherapist with interest in rehabilitation following orthopaedic surgeries as well as management of various neurological and musculoskeletal injuries. James is also a qualified hydrotherapist.
We have two Senior Nurses whose jobs include nurse consults, assisting the vet, anaesthesia and patient care & cuddles! Marie Barington is a very experienced nurse with specialism in anaesthesia and she’s also a trained assessor, meaning she can train up student nurses. Sam Johnson is an experienced veterinary nurse with referral level experience. She has interests in anaesthesia and multimodal analgesia (pain relief).
We have two Client Care Advisor Receptionists; Elizabeth Storm and Anna Bunton. They’re the friendly voices you will hear when you speak to us on the phone and will welcome clients into the practice and assist when any client concerns. Elizabeth’s interests lay particularly in rabbit care and welfare and Anna is an experienced veterinary receptionist with a love for all animals but especially horses and dogs.
