1. General
The following terms & conditions relate to the Charity Wall Plaques that are mounted in the Remembrance Walkway at Dignity Pet Crematorium.
2. Payment
The Client must pay in full all charges due for the Charity Wall Plaque, mounting fee and initial maintenance/memorial licence fee prior to the mounting of the Charity Wall Plaque in the Remembrance Walkway.
3. License & Maintenance
Dignity Pet Crematorium agrees to carry out regular maintenance to the Remembrance Walkway in order to keep the structure in an acceptable condition. There is a standard memorial licence & maintenance fee payable by the Client every 5 years or more in advance. A renewal letter stating the then applicable fee will be sent out by Dignity Pet Crematorium to the Client’s contact address in advance of the renewal date. The Client is responsible for keeping Dignity Pet Crematorium informed of any change in their contact details and must immediately notify us of any changes in writing. Clients can purchase an extended licence for longer time periods should they wish. If the
Client does not wish to renew the licence then they will be given the opportunity to collect and remove the Marker free of charge.
Memorial licence: The Client will be given a right to have a Charity Wall Plaque in place for a set time period from the point the Charity Wall Plaque is mounted in the Remembrance Walkway as set out below. The Memorial panels have a set layout and the Charity Plaque will be mounted on the next available space on the panel by Dignity Pet Crematorium.
Licence Period: 5 years (this can be extended to a 10, 15 or 20 year period either at the time of purchase or afterwards at any time)
In addition to the removal and disposal of a plaque, Dignity Pet Crematorium reserves the right to remove any right of access should the Client not pay the required maintenance or licence fees by the renewal date. If Dignity Pet Crematorium terminates the licence then the Client will receive a pro rata refund of the maintenance fee in proportion to the length of the unexpired licence period up to a maximum of 1 year.
4. Certification
Once the Charity Wall Plaque has been mounted on the Memorial Panel the Client will receive a certificate confirming the inscription, the date of mounting, the expiry date of the Memorial Licence and the location of the plaque. Dignity Pet Crematorium is responsible for mounting the plaque onto the Memorial Panel and for any resultant damage to the plaque or wall during fixing.
The plaque remains the property of Dignity Pet Crematorium. See section 7 for removal of plaque.
5. Donation to Charity
Dignity Pet Crematorium will undertake to pay the sum of £5 for each Charity Wall Plaque mounted in the Remembrance Walkway to Hounds for Heroes. Donations will be combined before being made and a record of all payments will be kept. Hounds for Heroes is a registered charity in England and Wales (1134359) and Scotland (SC043751).
