We were all deeply saddened when Allen Parton, owner of world famous assistance dog Endal, chose to use our services when the time came to say goodbye to Endal in March 2009. Endal won countless awards and was voted Dog of the Millennium for his devotion to wheelchair-bound Allen who was seriously injured while serving in the Gulf War.
Allen explains “I chose Dignity after finding their details on the internet one day. I put the information away knowing that when Endal died I could give him the send off he deserved. I decided to take Endal to Dignity myself and the way we were both looked after by them brought me great comfort. We had always been together as a partnership and by having Endal’s ashes back the same day Dignity allowed our partnership to remain unbroken. All the way through he was treated gently and with the same standard of care I would expect for any member of the family. I am so glad that I chose them to look after Endal as they gave him such a fitting end and helped me through one of the hardest days of my life and I would not hesitate to recommend their service to other pet lovers.”
